
Applicants must be students aiming to debut as a creative professional, for example, as a manga artist or illustrator, at the time of application.There are no size restrictions, but we recommend the following: A4 sheet, 300 dpi (2480 x 3508 pixels).

If submissions clearly do not match the requirements of the category, the contest organizers reserve the right to change the category of the entry in question. However, each category specifies whether color and/or black-and-white entries are accepted. For the Comic, Manga, and Bande Dessinée categories, please submit your work to the category you believe is most appropriate.Entries will not be made public until the results of the judging are announced.However, English-language works tend to reach the widest audience.
